This is the {{Tmbox/core}} sub-template.

Do not use this template directly; use {{Tmbox}} instead.

This template is called by {{Tmbox}}. It holds most of the code for {{Tmbox}}, while {{Tmbox}} itself performs parameter preprocessing.
